Transparent Probation UK has launched a public petition calling for greater transparency, clearer safeguards and more rehabilitation-focused approaches within probation and licence-condition decision making across England and Wales.
The petition has been created to encourage constructive discussion around:

Why This Matters
Probation and post-release systems play an important role in both public protection and successful rehabilitation.
However, many individuals, families and members of the public have raised concerns surrounding unclear decision-making processes, communication difficulties, restrictive conditions, mental health impacts, barriers to education and employment, and inconsistent support during reintregation.
Transparent Probation UK believes public protection and rehabilitation should work together - not against each other.
