YOUR VOICE MATTERS
Transparent Probation UK is gathering public opinion, lived experience and community perspectives relating to probation, rehabilitation, mental health, licence conditions and post-release systems across England and Wales.
The aim is to better understand: Recurring concerns, positive experiences, rehabilitation barriers, mental health impacts, communication issues, neurodiversity-related concerns, and wider perspectives surrounding probation and reintegration.
Constructive public engagement helps encourage informed discussion, greater transparency and evidence-based awareness.
Public Opinion Survey
We welcome responses from members of the public aged 18 and over, including:

families,

professionals,
-
students,
-
researchers,
-
advocates,
-
and anyone with an interest in rehabilitation and public protection.
The survey explores topics including: probation transparency, rehabilitation-focused approaches, public confidence, mental health safeguards, communication, and fairness in decision making.
Lived Experience Survey
We also invite adults aged 18+ with direct or indirect lived experience of: probation, licence conditions, Approved Premises, prison release, rehabilitation systems, or related support services to share their experiences respectfully and constructively.
Responses may help identify: recurring themes, rehabilitation challenges, positive practices, and areas where improvements may be beneficial.

Survey responses are reviewed carefully and respectfully.
Transparent Probation UK aims to encourage constructive discussion and does not promote harassment, abuse or hostility towards any organisation or individual.

Some anonymised themes, statistics or quotations may be used within campaign materials, research summaries or public awareness content.
